East of Venerato, above the stream, a carved complex of a winepress and a trough is preserved

Kokkina Patitiria

East of Paliani Monastery, a complex of wine presses, troughs (containers) and a grape press (galeagra, mangana), chiseled in the marly limestone, are preserved.

Chrysopigi

Chrysopigi is located south of Pyrgou, close to Nissi settlement. In an enchanting landscape, close to the stream of the river, Ano and Kato Nissi are hidden among the trees together with nymphs in a Dionysian setting.

Winepresses of Agios Antonios

An impressive huge winepress (capacity: 200 loads of grapes) weighing about 400 tons with carved trough, exists Inside Savopoulos vineyard.

Winepresses of Agii Apostoli

Westwards of Agios Thomas, next to the church of Agii Apostoli, a set including a winepress, a trough and a grape press (mangana) has been preserved.

Skepasta Pyrgou

In a prominent position at the vineyard of Pyrgou, at a site named “Skepasta”, there is a dilapidated complex of at least two domed buildings with external dimensions 8.60m x 4.00m.

Dimylies Winepresses

A winemaking complex is preserved in a prominent position at “Dimylies” site, overlooking the fertile valley N.E. of Skalani

Tholi Winepresses

In a prominent position overlooking the fertile valley, between the hill of Profitis Ilias and Karteros River, a large area with dimensions 6.56m x 4.25m x 2.00m is preserved, close to a rural road at “Tholii” site, N.E. of Skalani.
